FAQs

To ensure your spot, we recommend making an online reservation in advance. Simply select the desired class from the schedule to proceed with your booking. You can also book on-site at the studio and pay by debit card (no cash accepted). However, booking online in advance is strongly recommended.

If you’re visiting us for the first time, we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to give yourself time to find the space and arrive calmly.

Studio Flingern
Hoffeldstr. 31, 40235 Düsseldorf
Our Flingern studio is located in a quiet courtyard just off Ackerstraße. Walk through the entrance gate and follow the path – you’ll find us at the back on the ground floor. Please enter quietly, as we share the space with other creatives and neighbours.

Studio Friedrichstadt
Hüttenstr. 31a, 40215 Düsseldorf
This studio is tucked away behind the main building in a calm backyard setting. Use the entrance and look for the sign at the entrance door. We kindly ask you to keep your voice low to maintain the peaceful atmosphere.

Studio Pempelfort
Stockkampstr. 12a, 40477 Düsseldorf
Just off the lively Duisburger Strasse, our Pempelfort studio is a quiet retreat located in a private courtyard. Walk through the main gate and continue straight ahead – the studio is on the first floor. Please be mindful of your surroundings as you enter and leave.

We’re a small studio, so we don’t have showers. All our studios have changing rooms and restrooms.

We don’t have individual lockers, but we do provide secure jacket storage and shelves inside the changing rooms, so your belongings will be safe during class. Evenings and weekends can get quite busy, so if possible, we recommend arriving in your workout gear.

Comfortable sportswear and a towel are all you need. Yoga is practiced barefoot. For Pilates, you can bring grip socks, but they are not mandatory.

We provide mats and props, but you are welcome to bring your own mat or a towel. For the yin classes please bring an extra sweater and warm clothes. Please bring a sealable bottle if you wish to drink before, during, or after class, as open glasses are not allowed in the practice room.

Beginners are very much welcome! We recommend letting us know if it’s your first class so we can give you some extra guidance.

Our favorites for beginners are the beginner-level Yoga and Flow classes, as well as Yin Yoga and Yoga for the Back. Our Pilates and Pure Pilates classes are also suitable for beginners.

Please consult with your doctor first before booking any of our classes.

If you’re pregnant, please let the teacher know ahead of class. We don’t recommend starting a new movement practice in your first trimester. We also don’t recommend practicing any new movements you haven’t been doing before your pregnancy. If you already have a strong daily practice, then feel free to continue with your regular classes. Listen to your body to know when to take a break from these classes.

Studio Policies

Please check-in with someone from our team before you head into the studio so they can mark you present. If you are visiting via Urban Sports Club, please note, it is your responsibility to ensure you are checked-in properly.

Late entry is disruptive for the class, especially as many classes start with breathwork/ meditation. Our classes start and end on time, and we ask that you’re on your mat and ready to begin at least five minutes before the class starts.

We make no exceptions to this rule to ensure fairness and consistency for everyone in the space. We know that trains, traffic, and weather can be unpredictable, so please plan ahead as best you can to avoid disappointment.

Our class cancellation policy is 12 hours. If you do not cancel outside of this window, this will constitute as a late cancellation and your credit will not be returned to your account.

If you have an unlimited membership with us, a €10 no-show fee will be charged, so please make sure to give up your spot if you’re unable to attend the class. This allows someone on the waitlist to take your place.

Urban Sports Club or other external third-party bookings are liable to their cancellation policy.

Phone use is not permitted during class at any time for safety reasons and out of respect for your teacher and those around you. Please store phones in the changing room or at the windowsill.

If you’d like to film your practice, you are welcome to book a private class or hire our space for a shoot. It is not allowed to film  yourself in a public class.

We love seeing your photos before and after practice, or of our space in general, but please be mindful of our members and do not take photos of anyone without their consent.
