Kevin Beavers

Co-Founder

Kevin has practiced yoga since 1998 and brings deep experience in Anusara, Iyengar, and Ashtanga Yoga. Influenced by teacher Noah Mazé and his background as a musician, Kevin blends structure with creative flow. His classes range from dynamic vinyasa to focused hatha and therapeutic back care, always inviting students to explore yoga’s depth with curiosity, precision, and joy.

Verena Siems

Co-Founder

In 2006 Verena discovered yoga unexpectedly, never imagining it would become a vital part of her life. The deep calm and satisfaction consistently brought her back to the mat. She completed a 200h Anusara teacher training in 2013 with Jeff Fisher and a 300h Hatha/Vinyasa training in 2016 with Noah Mazé. Her classes emphasize breath, alignment, and mindful movement.

Alejandra Baltazares

Yoga has been both a goal and a path of reconciliation for Alejandra. It taught her balance, flexibility, and surrender. Starting from loss and confusion, she found yoga by chance. Thirteen years later, Alejandra is a 200-hour certified teacher at ShivasLoft. Her classes focus on dynamic sequences and breath, combining her passion as a visual artist with yoga to inspire creativity and mindfulness. She is grateful to all her inspiring teachers.

Leslie Stuart

Leslie is an experienced Pilates and yoga trainer with 26 years of expertise, also offering personal training and sports therapy. Her Power Pilates blends four essential movement disciplines to keep the body agile, strong, and enduring. Emphasizing precise technique and injury prevention, Leslie’s classes provide a holistic body experience, perfect for anyone seeking fresh challenges and a comprehensive workout.

Katharina Huch

Katharina discovered yoga over ten years ago in Southeast Asia, seeking balance from a stressful office life. Inspired by how her body softened through practice, she soon felt drawn to meditation and pranayama. In 2019, Katharina completed her teacher training at Shivasloft, followed by Thai Yoga training in 2020. Her teaching combines mindful movement and a playful spirit, offering a holistic and joyful experience on and off the mat.

Maike Blankenstein

Maike is the founder of Maike’s Yoga Journey. With a background in communications and PR, she is a certified 500-hour yoga teacher. She completed her first teacher training in summer 2020 and has been teaching since. Maike currently offers regular (online) classes for small groups, private sessions, workshops, and corporate yoga. Her teaching invites openness, respect for the ancient practice, and listening to one’s body and heart to find a personal path in yoga.

Denise Schrauder

In early 2024, Denise completed her Pilates training and has since been passionately teaching 1:1 and group sessions. With a coaching background, Denise creates space to disconnect from stress and daily to-do lists. Her classes blend breathwork, Pilates, and mindfulness. They start with a short breathing exercise, move into an intense Pilates burn, and end with a mini meditation—helping participants reset, refocus, and leave feeling inspired.

Mata Saadat

Mata began her fitness journey in 2011 with yoga and discovered Pilates in 2018, which became a transformative force in her life. Since then, she has been teaching and practicing Pilates with passion. She also took part in a research project on its health benefits. For Mata, Pilates means connection, strength, and joy. Her classes create a supportive space where people move, grow, and feel their best—physically and emotionally.

Guadaloupe Cordoba

Guadalupe Cordoba is a Pilates and movement instructor with a background in contemporary dance and a degree in Physical Education. Trained in Mat and Reformer Pilates, mobility, and flexibility, she has taught worldwide, from gyms to luxury cruise ships, working with clients of all ages. Now based in Düsseldorf, her classes combine mindful movement, strength, and alignment, always with a warm, professional approach that helps students unlock new potential in their bodies.

Maria Jussen

Maria is the discoverer and creator of life, a woman who loves people and creating space for them. Her path as a yoga teacher and lifelong student did not begin with rosy recognition but with the twists and turns of life that led her onto the mat. There she has met many faces of herself – headstrong, humble, ambitious, joyful – finding support and a return to her center. In her classes, students discover strength, breath, and courage to move, laugh, and enjoy the flow.

Franklyn Bussé

For over a decade, Franklyn has pursued his passion as a movement therapist. He focuses on the connection between mental attitude and physical movement. Using neural activation, his approach aims to deepen body awareness. After selling his personal training studios in Düsseldorf in 2021, Franklyn has dedicated himself to developing and expanding his philosophy of movement therapy.

Eva Hoffmann

In 2017, during her exam prep, Eva found calm through yoga despite the stress around her. It helped her switch off and reconnect with herself. Since then, yoga and meditation have become a vital part of her life. In 2023, she fulfilled a dream and completed her 200h yoga training at ShivasLoft. For Eva, yoga is the union of physical strength and inner balance. In her classes, she shares how breath and movement can lead to calm, resilience, and joy—on and off the mat.

Anne Drah

Anne discovered that teaching yoga is her form of creativity and meditation. Each class begins with a warm-up, moves into active flow, and ends in relaxation. In spring 2023, she completed her 200h training in Australia, an emotional and transformative experience. Yoga has since become a way of life for her. She teaches Hatha and Vinyasa with a focus on presence and traditional values. In 2024 Anne deepened her practice with a 300h training in Thailand.

Daniel Heil

Daniel loves exploring his physical and mental limits and learning from each practice. For him, yoga is a way to return to the present moment through breath and movement—where true presence unfolds. His style is dynamic and powerful Vinyasa Flow. He’s inspired by the individuality of the practice, which can shift and adapt to meet the unique needs of body and mind, offering strength, flexibility, and awareness.

Anna Buchwald

For Anna, yoga is an invitation to meet oneself — to connect body and soul and dive into moving meditation. To her, yoga is colorful, ever-changing, and a journey of sensing and shifting limits. After years of crossing paths with yoga, she realized it’s much more than a physical practice. Her curiosity led her to complete a 200h teacher training in 2021. Yoga is healing, connection, and whatever you need — and that’s what she loves to share.

Oliver Schieck

For Oliver, a doctor’s advice led to a hobby — and eventually a deep passion. Yoga taught him calmness and a positive approach to life’s ups and downs. He is a registered E-RYT 500 and inspired Anusara® teacher. He has studied with teachers like John Friend, Barbra Noh, and Noah Mazé. His teaching blends precision, practical tools, and humor. Oliver is passionate about sharing the joy and insight yoga brings.

Nicola Kreutzer

Nicola discovered yoga in 2010, not knowing how deeply it would impact her. Today, her daily practice includes asanas, pranayama, and studying yogic texts with her teacher. Yoga helped her recover from serious back issues, inspiring her to learn more. She is a certified RYT 200, Gravity® and Jivamukti® teacher. Nicola focuses on back health and philosophy, aiming to guide all levels toward strength, awareness, and deeper connection through yoga.

Alessia Czehak

Alessia discovered yoga in early 2019 and quickly felt its deep impact beyond the mat. Drawn to strong, challenging classes, she explored both body and mind. Yoga brings her clarity, focus, and a sense of balance in daily life. For her, it’s a lifelong journey of self-discovery. In 2023, she completed a 200h training in Flow & Alignment-Oriented Yoga. Her classes combine strength, alignment, curiosity, and playfulness to create space for growth and connection.

Susanne Schuran

For Susa, yoga began as a doctor’s advice, turned into a hobby, and became a true passion. Yoga taught her to approach life’s ups and downs with calm and positivity. She is a registered E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance and an inspired Anusara® teacher. Trained by teachers like John Friend, Veronika Freitag, and Barbra Noh, her style combines technical precision, hands-on practice, and humor. She loves sharing the transformative power of yoga.

Joan Ivars Ribes

Joan came to yoga through classical dance and stayed for the stillness between breaths. His classes blend tradition with creativity, offering a precise yet playful practice. A certified Jivamukti teacher (300h), he’s currently completing the 500h Apprenticeship Program with Ninya Lehrheuer. He also holds a 500h RYT in Hatha-Vinyasa and is a Reiki Usui & Karuna-Prakriti Master.

Claudia Kowa

Claudia has practiced yoga for over 10 years. Inspired by various styles, she found her home in Vinyasa and completed her teacher training in 2016 at karmakarma. With a background in dance and movement, she brings athleticism, mindfulness, and creativity into her classes. Her flows are dynamic and grounded in anatomy, combining modern yoga philosophy with soulful guidance for beginners and advanced students alike.

Saskia Schreiber

Saskia Schreiber inspires passion for movement, creativity, and body intelligence. She is a trained dance therapist, psychotherapist (Heilpraktikerin), Soul Motion® teacher, embodied leadership coach, and yoga teacher (RYT/YACEP). Her work blends somatic practices, conscious dance, and creativity to support authentic expression, healing, and growth. She offers coaching, workshops, trainings, and retreats for individuals and professionals alike.

Stefanie Rosskothen

Stefanie discovered yoga in search of inner balance and has followed its path ever since. In 2016, she completed a 200h Anusara teacher training and deepened her studies through workshops in Yin, Kids, and Hands-On Yoga. Her teaching is rooted in alignment and the heart-centered philosophy of Anusara. She creates mindful, themed classes that combine asana, breathwork, and meditation to support body awareness and inner connection.

Evelyne Mauch

Evelyne believes movement should feel good and be fun! With a focus on mindful technique—not perfection—she celebrates every unique body. Her journey began through various sports, but Pilates truly captivated her. After a year abroad, she completed a 250-hour training and now teaches with joy, depth, and curiosity. Currently, she’s deepening her knowledge of fascia and plans to study physiotherapy to expand her understanding of the human body.

Annika Ostermann

Annika sees yoga as her anchor, inspiration, and a place of connection. What began as balance to daily life became her passion. In 2023, she completed a 200h Vinyasa training in Costa Rica. Her classes are dynamic and strong, yet balanced with stillness and reflection. She offers variations for all levels and often includes meditation or pranayama. Annika believes yoga helps us live with more empathy, peace, and calm—and loves guiding others on that path.

Sandra Pollmann

Sandra came to yoga through her love of dance, having trained worldwide in New York, Spain, and South Africa. Yoga became a natural extension of movement and spirituality for her. She has practiced Japanese Buddhism for 9 years and has always been drawn to philosophy. Sandra completed her Vinyasa teacher training at Vishnus Vibes and further studies with Patricia Thielemann. She loves Hanuman—a symbol of hidden strength in us all.

Judith Hartwich

Judith began her yoga journey in 2013 during a sabbatical in Bali. Curiosity drew her to the mat; joy in asana and the soothing “relax” of her teacher kept her there. Back in Düsseldorf she learned to treasure the post‑practice stillness. She completed her 200h Vinyasa training in 2020/21, started teaching in 2021, added a 200h Yin training, and in 2025 finished a 300h advanced training at Vishnu’s Vibes. She teaches with warmth, clarity, and mindful presence.

Lisa Qashou

About 15 years ago, Lisa discovered Ashtanga Yoga by chance—and was instantly drawn in by the rhythm of breath and movement. What began as physical practice became a tool for mental focus and balance. She completed her Ashtanga & Yin Yoga teacher training in 2021 and continues to deepen her knowledge through workshops and study. In her classes, she encourages presence, strength, and body awareness—always with care, clarity, and mindful guidance.

Sade Forkland

If you’re a heart-centered person, you’ll love Sade’s classes—because they come from the heart. Her teaching is dynamic and soft, flowing or still. With creative sequences, breath awareness, and a focus on alignment, she guides you into feeling and growth. Her classes are as surprising and vibrant as life itself. Is your heart jumping? Denice Imamoto

During challenging times, yoga helps her find clarity; in joyful times, it deepens happiness. A former competitive athlete, Denice discovered yoga after a life-changing event and it became part of her everyday life. In her classes, she shares the joy of flow, balance, and presence—inviting students to challenge themselves, connect within, and laugh together on their unique yoga journey.

Celine Mathieu

Celine discovered her love for yoga in 2019, finding peace, focus, and self-confidence through regular practice. In 2024, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Shivasloft with Kevin Beavers. She now teaches Vinyasa and Hatha classes, welcoming everyone—whether seeking calm after busy days or wanting to explore the joy and variety yoga offers—while sharing her core belief: in yoga, you are exactly where you’re meant to be.

Laura Prahl

For Laura, movement and creativity are inseparable. A 200-hour trained teacher in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga, she blends flowing sequences, stillness, and mindful breath with playful exploration. Influenced by Animal Flow, her classes spark body awareness and open new ways to move, helping students find balance, calm, and strength through yoga as a form of expression.

Jennifer Bergmann

Jennifer believes yoga offers something unique for everyone. Since 2024, she has been teaching dynamic Hatha and Vinyasa classes that inspire both challenge and release. Drawn to Shivasloft in 2018, she completed her 200h training with Verena Siems and Kevin Beavers, bringing over 20 years of dance and coaching experience. For her, yoga is a space to explore, grow, and smile—where curiosity meets self-discovery and each practice is as individual as the yogi.

Klara Schmersal

Klara blends Pilates, Yoga, and mindfulness into a holistic, contemporary practice that builds strength, stability, and flexibility while fostering body awareness and breath connection. With over a decade of teaching experience, she draws from Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Pilates to create flowing, functional movement. As a certified stress management trainer, she also offers tools to bring focus, balance, and ease into daily life, empowering students in group classes, workshops, and personal training.

Jana Flader

Jana has been teaching a variety of classes for over 15 years, valuing the balance between effort and relaxation that yoga and Pilates uniquely offer. With a background in ballet, gymnastics, and dance, she turned her lifelong passion for movement into a career through a degree in sports science. At Shivasloft, she teaches Pilates with the aim of helping students find their inner strength while enjoying mindful, balanced movement that supports both body and mind.

Lisa Schmidl

Lisa discovered yoga over a decade ago while seeking balance and relief from stress. In 2024, she completed her 200-hour training in Sri Lanka, embracing Yoga Synergy’s flowing, mindful approach. Her classes are like moving meditations, enriched by sound healing, Thai massage, and Reiki, offering a gentle space for presence, softness, and inner connection. She weaves mindful touch, breath, and movement to calm the nervous system and guide students back into their bodies.
